It's the half way point! How organized is your money?

It's crazy, the year is half over!

This is a great time to take an in-depth look at your money, your goals, and your systems.

  • How caught up are you on maintaining and organizing your business books? Do you have all your income and expenses recorded? Have you managed your expenses, and do you know what you spent, and on what? Are you able to print out current reports? June 30th is the end of the 2nd quarter and a great time to compare your current numbers to your budget and projection numbers.

  • The end of the 2nd quarter may signal time for some tax reporting and payments. If you pay yourself on a payroll, your payroll reports and taxes are due by July 31st. Maybe your location has business taxes that need to be reported and paid. And if you are paying estimated taxes to the IRS, time to look at that too.

  • Are you on track with how much income you had desired to make this year? Whatever financial goals you had set for the year, now is the time to evaluate, re-evaluate and adjust. Set some new goals for the 2nd half of the year.

It will be the end of the year before you know it!
